Westgate
Hill - Pembroke

This
is Westgate Hill in Pembroke, named for the old West Gate in the town
wall. Part of the arch of the gateway can still be seen built into the
wall of the cottage on the right. These houses are probably the oldest
in Pembroke and stand opposite the castle itself. I have left out the
modern street signs and road markings.
